MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP


Food Service Seasonal Leadership — Earn up to $15 an hour!

Description: To ensure the successful and profitable operation of an assigned location or area, while maintaining compliance of all policies and procedures to achieve outstanding Guest Service in a fast paced, and fun atmosphere. Supervise Food Service Team Members. Ensure that Guests are being provided with menu items of the highest quality. Implement Guest service programs, and continually follow up with staff on service techniques. Enforce proper food preparation and handling procedures, in compliance with all Health Department and Food Service Department policies regarding sanitation. Continually monitor the cleanliness of your assigned location. Ensure the safety of all Team Members and Guests Monitor labor and food cost to achieve budgeted goals. Ensure that a proper level of inventory is maintained at assigned location. Ensure that all Team Members are following correct cash handling procedures. Evaluate Team Members. Develop a well-trained, efficient staff, and ensure that qualified Team Members are available for promotion. Make recommendations regarding Team Member promotions, and corrective action. Identify areas for continued improvement; develop and implement strategies to enhance these areas. Comply with all Six Flags handbook policies at all times.
Skills Required: Must be willing to work 40-60 hours per week, including before and after scheduled shifts if necessary and on weekends, nights, and holidays. Must be professional, energetic, self-motivated, able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude. Perfect grooming and conduct must be constantly displayed. College credits in Hospitality or Business Management preferred. Equivalent Experience combined with education will be considered. Maintain acceptable net profit levels by controlling spoilage and ordering of product.

Merchandise Seasonal Leadership

Description: Proactively Supervise Merchandise Team Members while assisting in the operations of the assigned Merchandise area so as to ensure our guests’ satisfaction. Identify and implement Six Flags goals, policies, values, and objectives. Identify deficiencies in staff member performance and communicate them to full time management as well as counsel, track and discipline according to the point system. Ensure all paperwork is properly completed and turned in on time.  Includes (but not limited to) Payroll/Break sheets, Incident reports, etc. Give a review of performance to each staff member on a bi-weekly basis. Oversee and handle projects, duties, and responsibilities of the merchandise department as delegated by the merchandise manager or director. Ensure that all policies and procedures pertinent to area are followed. Must swipe in and out each day to receive correct pay for the week. Authorize and implement emergency or inclement weather procedures. Maintain proper attendance and timeliness. Ensure guest safety and satisfaction in their stay at Six Flags. Set high standards of performance for all areas within their responsibilities. Respond to any emergency situation in the area and maintain control until an area supervisor arrives. Ensure that image, cleanliness and courtesy standards requirements are met. Refrain from consuming any substance that may impair judgment. Cooperate with all team members and managers. Resolve Guest concerns that may arise on a daily basis.

Games Seasonal Leadership

Description: Role is responsible for making sure each game is properly equipped with supplies. This seasonal position is responsible for a selected area, monitoring per cap and cost of sales; responsible for maintaining all aspects of training, salesmanship, displays, stock levels, and cleanliness. Supervisors are required to interact with guests, team members, and supervisors on a daily basis. Additionally, Supervisor’s are required to continuously work outdoors and closely with others.  Occasionally will work alone.  Will always be exposed to direct sunlight, dust, dirt, and water.  Must be able to function in all weather conditions for long periods of time. Must be able to promote the park with the utmost enthusiasm and pride while ensuring each game is properly equipped with supplies. Overseeing the training, certification and development of stand management and team members. Improving the overall quality of life for Team Members. Maintaining staffing levels for their assigned area making/suggesting changes as necessary. Greet guests enthusiastically and professionally, sometimes through a microphone. Monitoring all areas of responsibility to ensure active following of all minor laws. Maintains their assigned areas’ and stockrooms cleanliness and organization. Maintains the salesmanship, performance and guest service offered by team members for their assigned games. Monitor Per Caps making recommendations as needed. Responsible for monitoring Cost of Sales for their assigned games. Responsible for weekly inventories and monitoring Cost of Sales. Ensure the proper handling of cash. Ensure the accuracy of cash dropping procedure. Must adhere to all Six Flags cash handling guidelines. Answer guest questions and give proper guidance. Admission Team Member

Audio / Visual Technician

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: Walk Park with a constant review of audio and video performance and appearance of SFTV and SFR (audio) to ensure content clarity, product performance, and appropriate operation. Monitor volume levels throughout the day based on time of day and projected/actual attendance. Complete daily operating report, which includes system check for all SFTV and SFR. Correct or troubleshoot issues with input from AV Assistant Manager or corporate managers. Report any issues directly to the Audio Visual Assistant Manager.

Guest Relations Team Member

Landscaping

Description: The seasonal landscaper is responsible for maintaining the park's quality landscape. Landscapers maintain the upkeep of vast lawn areas and flower gardens. Landscapers also water and maintain the irrigation of park's plants, shrubs and bushes.

Lifeguard

Description: Recognize and successfully manage aquatic emergencies by utilizing skills taught by the National Pool and Water Park Association to be the top lifeguards in the country. Assist guests with questions concerning rides, directions, and policies. Team members work outside at the wave pool, slides, and our aquatic children's playground.

Park Services Team Member

Description: Provide superior guest service for all guests. Maintain a clean park environment for guests throughout the entire shift. Transport trash from the trash cans to the park compactor areas and separate as necessary to adhere with parking recycling rules, wipe down all trash receptacles, table tops, and counters in assigned sections.
Skill Requirements: Identify and react to detailed areas both behind the scenes and guests' view, in order to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Search for and remove trash, cigarette butts, debris, and graffiti. Sweep park streets, walkways, and attraction areas with a broom and dustpan. Wipe down all trash receptacles. Security Team Member

Shuttle Bus Driver

Description: Operate busses in safe efficient manner. Monitor traffic flow to determine the most efficient use of trams. Assist guests and Security as the need arises. Must enforce all park policies and procedures, as well as maintain guest satisfaction and profitability of the company.
Skill Requirements: Individual needs to have a CDL with a P certification in order to operation our shuttle bus. Must have a clean driving record, be able to speak and understand English, sit up for six hours a day, and work in all weather conditions for long periods of time.
